Jordan Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2009

Tom Jordan founded his eponymous winery in 1972 with an eye towards producing world-class chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon... and that's exactly what Jordan routinely delivers. Undoubtedly one of the region's most respected producers.

Sustainability is also a priority here -- Jordan was among the first wineries certified in the Sonoma Green Business Program (1999) and in the Bay Area Green Business Program (2000). From seeding ground cover and composting to introducing beneficial predators and recycling water, their viticulture team works year-round to preserve the sustainability of the land.

Sequoia Grove 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This is an exciting bottling for the winery, as it serves as a direct expression of President and Director of Winemaking Michael Trujillo's progressive agenda to continually enhance the quality of the wines from Sequoia Grove, since taking leadership with the 2002 vintage. The vintage includes estate fruit, previously exclusive to the Rutherford Reserve bottling, as well as fruit from the newly acquired Tonella Vineyard, a 50 acre prime property in Rutherford. Sequoia Grove’s dedication to the environment and sustainable practices is part of the winery’s heritage and history, as it is named after one of the last remaining groves of Redwoods in Napa Valley.
