I hope that’s okay. 1) Arthur’s Tavern in NYC – best live (and free) house funk band every Thurs/Friday/Saturday. 2) MECCA on Bleecker in the West Village – very good scene and relatively unknown (well until now I suppose). 3) Miss Mae’s The Club in New Orleans – open 24 hours a day and drinks are $1…pretty self-explanatory.
