The Tom Leykis Show: Gone but not forgotten
The Imbiber was a regular guest on the nationally syndicated radio program, The Tasting Room with Tom Leykis. Well, last week CBS unceremoniously pulled the plug -- not only on Leykis' show, but on the entire LA-based host station KLSX (bye, bye Adam Carolla, Danny Bondauce, Frosty, Heidi, Frank... etc). For those keeping score, that makes three radio stations on which I've had regular gigs that have gone the way of the dodo in the past six months -- the others being Maxim Radio on Sirius and Indie 103.1 FM in LA. The lesson here of course, is that NOBODY in their right mind should ever hire me to do radio again!
