About The Imbiber Site
Dan’s work has appeared in numerous high-profile publications including Playboy, GQ, USA Today, Maxim, The Los Angeles Times, Entertainment Weekly, Hemispheres, Mutineer, Wine Access, The Tasting Panel and Hosiery & Underwear Magazine (seriously!). He is a former staff writer for the Emmy-nominated TV show “Talk Soup” and freelance joke contributor for SNL’s “Weekend Update.” His critically acclaimed semi-fictional memoir, “Nobody Likes a Quitter (and other reasons to avoid rehab),” was published in November 2007 by Perseus Books and subsequently optioned by a major Hollywood production company that was, at one time, almost negotiating a deal to develop a pilot or something somewhere in Peru or someplace like that. His second tome, “Living Loaded: Tales of Sex, Salvation and the Pursuit of the Never-ending Happy Hour” was published by Random House in early 2011, and is being developed into a scripted half-hour comedy at Fox.
The Imbiber site was designed by a dozen unpaid interns from the Louis Braille School of Design, and is maintained by a trained elephant that works for peanuts. Most of the people who write for the site have little ambition and suffer from low self-esteem.
