| The The Paradise looks and tastes like a cocktail. Sake remains a mystery to many westerners -- is it wine? Not really. Should it be drunk hot or cold? Who knows? It's been hiding in plain sight. Japanese soccer has the same unwarranted obscurity. How did this team beat Cameroon? Defense. Well, and a goal -- Japan had just two shots on goal, and one went in. The Netherlands has better attacking players than Cameroon, and Japan will need to push harder against the Dutch defense. There is no way Japan should win this game, but Cameroon learned the hard way that it doesn't pay to underestimate this Japanese team. This smells like a draw. |
